About Us
Purpose
The AB 1802 Clearinghouse has been established as an open source community for student support professionals and administrators who are engaged in the implementation of AB 1802. The Clearinghouse supports the collection, dissemination, and sharing of information regarding implementation of The Supplemental School Counseling Program (Article 4.5 of AB 1802).
The clearinghouse is a project of the Center for Student Support Systems (CS3) in partnership with the Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE). The California Association of School Counselors (CASC) and The Western Association of College Admissions Counseling (WACAC) are co-sponsors of the Clearinghouse.
The purpose of the Clearinghouse is to provide comprehensive, reviewed, updated information on implementation, research, and on-going professional development associated with the Supplemental School Counseling Program established by AB 1802.
The AB 1802 Clearinghouse provides tools to counselors, school and district administrators, counselor educators, and researchers interested in implementation of the school counseling portion of the legislation.
AB1802Clearinhouse.com operates with the cooperation of the California Department of Education (C.D.E.).
